Problems with Go SMS

Puddin422

Go SMS will not send or receive (shows up but won't download) MMS. I can go into my stock sms app and send or receive MMS, no problem. In Go, they don't ever fail or anything...just are stuck forever sending or downloading.

Go SMS app says to make sure Auto Retrieve is enabled in stock sms app. It is/has been.

Go SMS is sending MMS just fine for me. Running stock Froyo (rooted) on a Dinc with Verizon.

In the Go SMS app, all options are unchecked, and Maximum MMS size is set to 1MB.

Here's my stock client MMS settings...

That's your Go MMS Settings screen shot? Looks nothing like mine. And is that your phone number showing??
Yikes... was already editing the img to kill the phone number while you were replying. :)

Nope, that's my stock messenger client's settings. All settings in my Go SMS client are unchecked, so I figger'd it's not worth takin a snapshot.

Mine are the same, except that I left the default 1mb. But I can't even send 20kb pics. Or receive them. Yet all of it works fine in the stock app.

Wierd. How long have you been having this issue? Did it just start recently? Sometimes my carrier will spaz and I'll go a couple days with hit or miss results in MMS. And now that I think about it, I always have hit or miss results when send/receiving MMS with iPhone users.

It doesn't matter who it is. Blackberry on Boost, iphone on att, androids on different carriers..

I've only been using Go for 4-5 days. Was slow sending/receiving first day, but still sent. Since at least Monday, nothing will go through. Used Handcent for several months til I tried Go. Was slow sending, but always sent. I always send through the stock app just because it's faster.

I use Go and frequently send MMS with no issues at all.. .how strange. I'm on an unrooted unbranded phone and use the same SIM card I have been using for years.

You should email the developers products and tell them your problem and phone model, if only to help them improve their app.

email sent. we'll see. I also noticed that it absolutely will not send pics from Hide It Pro. Even if you send it through the stock app to yourself, it will show up in your Go app, but it won't forward. (I was trying to find a work around!)
