I downloaded Handcent and for some reason I can't figure out how to set it as the default messaging app. Normally, on my previous android devices, after I installed handcent and received a message it would ask me which messaging app I want to use, and I'd choose Handcent as the default. This HTC did not ask me which one I want to use, so I tried to manually choose it by clearing the defaults of the stock messaging app - Alas, the ''clear defaults'' button isn't clickable. How do I set Handcent as my default messenger?

There's an option in the Handcent app to make it primary and disable the stock messaging app.
