I have a problem installing new applications to my Samsung Galaxy S phone via Android market. Basically when I installed a new app I just got a red download arrow for a split secomd then nothing followed by a message saying download unsuccesful. So I was advised on another forum to go to manage applications and select market then clear cache which I did but I think I also managed to delete the actual market app itself because whilst the icon is still on my desktop it does not appear in my list of applications and when I try to download$ any new apps I just get the download unsuccessful message like before.
So do I first need to re install android market somehow and if so whats the best way to do this and then how do I fix the problem so that I can downlaod apps again. Does having a market icon mean I still have it and is there any way to check as its not showing in " Manage Applications" It does search and show results though ss who knows!!
PLease can anyone help as I down load lots of useful apps.
