I have recently swapped to a giff gaff sim and it worked fine at first but over last week or so at home it just really struggles to connect to the mobile internet. When set to choose between gsm and wcdma it always pics the slower gsm of the 2. But when i manually change it to wcdma only it works. All be it slow. But then it affects my messages sending. Why does it opt for the slower mobile internet when the faster one does work? Its driving me crazy. Whats the point of 3gig of internet if i can never connect!

Try the giffgaff forum mate. I havent used it in a long time but the peeps were VERY helpful when I did (they earn money for it lol)
