Problems with my Flytouch 3

Hello! I need help from someone who has expertise in this matter. I have a Flytouch 3 and have the following problems: 1. Maps always show china, not my area..how do I reset these feature to show my area as default? Does this mean the GPS is not working? This is strange because it gives the me weather just fine. 2. None of the apps that require voice recording, including the one that comes with the flytouch, will work. It gives me a error message regarding the sd card, which is installed and working very well. What should I do? The card I have installed is a 4gb Sandisk Micro SD/HC. Also, Neflix won't run in this tablet, does this mean it is not compatible? I looked up some threads that talk about updates for this tablet and I am almost ready to do the process.

Please help!!!

If you go to menu>settings>location and security does it show under my locations you have the mobile networks and/or GPS enabled? if not, then the device won't be able to determine where you are.

You might also try going to menu>settings>applications>manage application and on the all tab, find maps and clear the cache and the data.

At the very least you should check out The FlyTouch 3 forum.
 
Hi! Yes, I did everything you said and it still comes up saying I am in Loushan Road, Shanghai, China!! Is there anyway to update the software so that It has the latest android info or does this mean the GPS is not working?
 
Once Google maps is open and you press the button that looks like a crosshair or target, does it find your real location? If it does, then the GPS is working, but you have a default location saved somewhere. If you ask in the Flytouch forum, maybe someone has run across this before. Good luck.
 
No...I am consulting with the person in china I bought the tablet from and this is what she says but I don't now how to get this version of google maps: "customer must get the local maps and copy it to tf card firstly,also need a software apk which make the maps works"
