Help Problems with noise reduction HELP

hi! im having problems during calls hearing the person when we both speak at the same time, its as if the phone mutes what they are saying. its not that im speaking too loud, or theyre speaking any softer, the phone is obviously muting them. its getting real annoying and ide like to resolve this issue. there is no option to turn off noise reduction/cancellation and im wondering if its a network issue? any body else having this problem? please help!

Hi,
I'm not sure if it's still the case, but cellphones used to have a "single channel" for conversation. It only allows sound from one person to the other and not both at the same time. So always make sure one of you is finished talking before answering.
