Help Problems with speaker volume

Hi everyone, I just got my htc myouch 4g used and before I attempted to root it, the speaker worked great now it there's no sound,

How can I fix this

New here.. Just throwing it out there. Try to unroot it and see if it works afterward. Narrows it down to the root you've done.
