Root Problems with stock and handcent messaging

I just flashed Skyraider Athena 1.2. Love the rom, but for some reason the messaging app isnt opening. I get force closes. Then I tried using handcent, and that too didnt work. I have tried a factory reset and fixed permissions w/ reboot. Any suggestions?

Try wiping everything in clockwork, dalvik, data etc then re flashing. Sometimes the wipe like in Rom manager doesn't quite get the job done.
