Problems with streamin radio apps

I tried the Galaxy Nexus when it first came out, then returned it. The streaming radio apps I used, Resco and TuneIn Radio, Radio.com., played for a 30 seconds then cut off.

Does anyone know if this was a problem with the radio, the software, of maybe the apps not being written to work with 4.0?

Has anyone had similar problems, or found it fixed with the updates?

I'm looking at the Galaxy S3 and am wondering if I might expect the same problems

Hey there Hal1,
Just downloaded TuneIn Radio and listened to a couple of local stations on my 3g connection. First one was a bit 'blippy' with sound artifacts like a badly coded mp3 but I think that was an exception.
Just listened to a couple of other stations flawlessly. Just tested each of them for the length of a song and all seems fine with TuneIn + SGS3

I must admit i had the same thing, when the phones screen lock came on radio went off. With a bit of playing about figured it was my juice defender settings. Disabled them for the time i wanted to use it and was perfect.
