Problems with syncing music to SD card

Anyone have any luck with transferring files from one SD card to another? During syncing with USB, my device is no longer being recognized. I haven't had much luck trying to transfer wirelessly. I was debating on giving this method a shot.

why not just use a computer to do this? you just need a sd card adapter.

I previously had an S9 and transferred the SD card over when I got the S20.

I use the Windows Media player with the phone plugged into the desktop. It seemed like the S20 never worked as smoothly as the S9 ,but now it won't work at all. Maybe the SD card became corrupted? All the files seem to work though on the music player app.. Weird thing is if I remove the card and just plug in the phone, it is recognized.

It just seemed to me like it was a really easy way to add music when it was functioning.

It doesn't have any error message when I attempt to transfer but maybe this could be it?
