Help Problems with the Voicemail.

I keep having the 'New voicemail notification' every time I turn my phone on. There are no messages, new or saved. Also when I go to settings->Call-> Tur off Voicemail Notification, it only turns it off until I turn my phone on again.
So, every time I turn my phone on I have to deactivate it, AGAIN.

Any advice?

That sounds like a "bug" in the software. I remember my EVO had that exact problem and HTC send out an update to correct it. I don't have any troubleshooting tips to fix this. Contact your service carrier and discuss the problem you are having.

Edit: What you did was the only known way of getting rid of the problem. I'm afraid you would have to reset the device to fix this annoying problem.
