Problems with Titanium Backup backup

Hi, I backed up my device using titanium backup before wiping it and am now facing problems restoring app data. I am trying to recover a recording captured using Smart Voice Recorder, when I restore the data everything works and when I open the app the recording I need appears. When I try to play the recording however, an error appears saying "Missing File".
Is there a way to recover the recording or is it unlikely? Thank you

What Kind of "Wipe" did you do? Just a factory reset or a complete wipe and new install?
Sounds like the program data did not get completely captured. Is the file on your SDCARD? The program could be expecting the file in the wrong place. Then again Not all apps support being backed up and restored.

By default, TiBU doesn't back up files on the SD card, it only backs up application data. If you performed a full wipe (including the SD card) that probably means that the voice recording file is lost.

The kind of wipe I did was a factory reset just through the settings menu. It didn't wipe my SD card. Thanks for the help

Do you have any way to browse directly to the recording file using a file explorer?
