Problems with universal android download ?

I've downloaded Universal Android from a number of different sites for my orange San Francisco phone (gen1) 2.1 . When I come to install it I get the same response from Norton on my phone - "Installed package : com.corner23.android universalandroot is infected". Can any one help !?
Which are the safest download sites for this and other software for installing 2.3 custom roms on my phone.
