Help problems with wifi ever since jelly bean update

Ever since the JB update I can no longer access my home WiFi. My phone keeps saying that its not in range. Router has been reset 4 times and I did a factory reset and I added my phone as a trusted user. But my phone can still not find my home WiFi. Please I need help I don't know what else to do.

I had a problem connecting to my wifi both with my Droid X and this phone. In both cases, it would keep connecting and disconnecting immediately. I installed KeepWiFi Service on both phones, and it works. It's a very simple app but it seems to do the job.

I had the same problem with ICS and JB - but instead of not connecting, mine would just randomly drop connection, even while using it. The same with my Nexus 7 tablet.

I set my Linksys/Cisco WRT160N router to BG-mixed, and left N off. Don't have as strong a signal, but it's never dropped once.

Your WiFi router. Check the settings. If it has N capability and it's enabled, try switching to BG mixed or G only.

Not my point. I'm simply sharing that I had success turning off wireless N on my router, and thus suggested the same to see if that resolves conflict. If not, ok, but why not try it at least??

WiFi working again as soon as SSID broadcast was enabled it started working. Which is odd cause before when it was disabled I was able to log on. Hopefully there will be some other new update to jelly bean cause I really don't want my WiFi broadcasted.
