Problems with Wiimote?

I've been trying to link my Wii remote using WiimoteController and have been having some issues linking it to My Nexus 7. The directional pad works fine, yet the buttons won't work. I've tried multiple mapping settings and still nothing. Am I doing something wrong or is the N7 not compatible?
