Help problems with youtube!!!! please help!!!!

help!!!
I cant listen music from youtube while the screen lock is on?! I usually put my phone in standby mode by pressing the power button but now every time i do that the music stops!! its very annoying and it drains battery!
PLEASE HELP

Use a music site if you you want to listen to music, youtube is for videos, its supposed to keep the screen on whenever its playing, same goes for your device's local video player.
You can't enjoy a video with a blank screen
And please don't name threads like these with 'help'!!! Youtube is not kiliing your phone

Pandora, Slacker, IheartRadio, Jango, and a number of others. All of them have stand alone apps that will play in the background. I'm not sure if any of these are available outside the US. Sorry, I'm not familiar with what is available outside of my country
