Help process.com.android.mms (HELP!!!)

hi guys...

I've yesterday updated my Samsung Galaxy S through Kies to FROYO 2.2

however since yesterday, each time i click on messages, it keeps vibrating my phone once, then twice more then comes up with the error "unexceptionably error process.com.android.mms"

i briefly installed handcent on it today, just so that i cold get into the text messaging screen. but i've also realised that even clicking into somewhere that requires typing it comes up with that error?

Please please please help... I've no idea what to do, this is an T-mobile branded handset, I've had no probs with it at all, not rooted or anything, just plain and simple followed instructions on Samsung Kies..

now i'm stuck.

I understand that factory reset didn't make thing any better right?

had the same problem, but a factory reset fixed it for me, though I lost my progress in angry birds
