process com.android.settings not working

After a recent update, prior to recent update and after multiple times taking the phone into a local store for evaluation this pone continues to say "process com.android.settings" is not working and there is no way to send/receive text, email, etc. This occurs sporatically once temporarily fixed and when it does, there is no way to communicate until it goes back to the store for analysis, wiping all information off again and starting over. Then it works for a few days to a week and then the message "process com.android.settings" is not working, force restart. When restarting, it does not work. What is causing this?

An incompetent tech at the store. Contact the carrier directly for assistance. If they can't help you, write to the office of the CEO at the carrier and ask for a solution. (Which might well be a replacement phone - which will be cheaper for the carrier than wasting many hours trying to fix the problem for good.)

Hi! Try this:
1. go to flight modus in settings to stop the notifications.
2. go to settings > applications manager > all > scroll all the way down. Enable any (recent) disabled applications.
3. get out of flight modus in settings.
