Help process.com.android

My Galaxy S updated automatically this morning and prompted a reboot. Now I cannot receive any incoming calls, I get the following error - process.com.android - I have cleaned all messages and updated again but, nothing seems to fix this. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? I had an update for my EVO also but no problems there. PLEASE HELP

I have had the same exact problem since I installed that update yesterday morning. Same error message, and everything. I get an incoming call, that error message pops up, my phone drops its signal, then restores it, and everything appears normal again -- except I get the same message on the next incoming call.

I've tested incoming calls from different carriers, so that's not the problem. I've tried unlinking my Facebook account as well as changing the ringer from the custom I had to one of the defaults. Finally I've tried soft resetting, as well as removing the sim card and restarting without it, as well as taking out both battery and sim card for an hour. I'm starting to think that a factory restore may be the only option -- and even then I'm not sure if that'll help, since the problem seems to be caused by an Android update.

Model number: SPH-D700
Firmware version: 2.3.6
Kernel version: 2.6.25.7
Build number: GINGERBREAD.EL30
Hardware version: D700.0.5

Thanks in advance for any insight given toward helping to solve this problem.
