Help Process Com Error

Hi there , I have a Samsung Galaxy S i-9000

Every time I open an application it crashes and give me the error, the application process com."application name" has stopped unexpectedly. please try

I have rebooted my phone and cleared all the application chahe but the error is still there

Please help

This same thing happened to mine a while back and all I could do was to perform a full factory/data wipe reset from the recovery menu ( Volume up+Home+Power). It wiped all my apps from my phone though, but got it working again.
