profile and password

Help, I have just bought my android. When I go to profile it gives me a fixed email and looks for my password. Can i change the email and password to my own. Don't have the password for the fixed email on profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated. M

I'm trying to understand what "profile" you're referring to. Are you in the Gmail app trying to set up a new account?

Please clarify a bit so we can stop guessing and help more easily.
