Profile App

[justboy]

Spent some time today looking online and in the market to find a profile app that does a specific job, but not even sure if one exists.

Does anybody know if there is an app out there that allows me, based on profile, to have different apps/widgets on my homescreens?

So when I have my profile set to "work" it displays X apps/widgets and when i have it set to "home" i see a different set of apps/widgets?

Thoughts?

The only way I know to do this would be to have HTC Sense on your phone (HTC phones only). It would allow you to do exactly what you are describing.

Or just layout 4 screens for "Home" and 4 screens for "Work", put whatever widgets you want on each (duplicates are fine), and just swipe to the screen you want. I use GO Launcher, have a "Car" screen, a "Games" screen... etc., you could do something similar. MultiPicture Wallpaper lets you put a different picture on each screen.

Might give this a go. I'm already using Go Launcher.

Thanks guys.

So, as it turns out, my Droid 2 Global has this functionality built in... just doesn't work with Go Launcher.
