Why is viewing the "About you" info [on a profile] so convoluted to get to? Why doesn't it just display, by default, when you're viewing someone's profile?

And where has the setting gone that controls the blurb after your username? Mine says 'crazy peacock person'--and I'm sick of it. I THINK I've looked everywhere but can't find where to change it.

You know what's funny to me? How some people--who are absolutely CLUELESS about Android--have been labelled 'Android expert.'

Clearly, this is done automatically, based on some criteria, hence we have 'lurker,' 'newbie,' etc., but it used to be user-changeable...like ours...

If you click on your avatar... top right of the page from a browser, you should see an option to add or edit the custom title below your avatar.

yeah i assume that it has to do with those labels. when the site got an upgrade. i was not around for that unfortunately.

Did you click on your avatar or hover for the drop down. Click the avatar... it should be on the left panel and not the drop down

Top right corner is your pm alerts and your profile. Click on the profile. The drop down options are on top of a pane.
Click on the pane on the left to remove the drop down. There you will find your avatar at the top and then some options below. Among the options is to add or edit your custom title.
At the bottom of that page you will need to save your changes.

To add to @olbriar 's instructions, I think you have to go to "personal details"

Hmm, odd. Something may have gotten changed unbeknownst to me.

We are looking at the same page. The line to add/edit is missing on your screen shot. I'm with Mike... I assumed it was as it always was.

Nope. Been there, done that before posting. I'm using Chrome on Android; I've even checked its 'desktop site' setting, and still nothing.

There's no such tab using Chrome on my phone:

The drop-down menu where the tab should be shows:

NOTHING happens when pressing any of its three choices, including 'Information.' To actually get to it, I have to long-press on "Information,' choose 'open in new tab' (since nothing else applies), then go to that tab to see it. Like I said, convoluted!

Been there, done that, too, before posting. Nope:

As noted, I've used Chrome's 'desktop site' setting to see if it would appear that way, but, no.
