Progressbar Text

I was looking at a way to add text to a progressbar and came across this code. I created a new project and added the code but I get a force close on the line setContentView(R.layout.main);.

Has anyone used this sample code before and got it working or could someone have a look at the app I've created (project attached) to see why I would be getting the force close?
