Many consumer electronics companies are members, and already many TVs have the interface. Android phones will begin to support it in 2011. I imagine LCD projectors will also. It works over WiFi.

There are already Android phones that support DLNA. I've connected my Droid X to my PS3 with it before. Don't know if any projectors support DLNA, but look for that option on them, I really wouldn't be surprised if there were some out there, or at least some on the way.
