Prolonging Replacement Battery Life/ Settings Tips

Not lurking...looking for tips on settings to maximize battery life of my Droid 2.2 Original battery last 1.5 times longer than new replacement. Would appreciate settings tips to prolong life.

Do you mean you have the original Droid with Android 2.2 or you have a Droid 2? (I've provide links to both forums)
Unfortunately, it may not be a matter of battery saving tips. There are two possibilities for the difference. One is that the replacement battery just isn't up to the same capacities as the original. This is common in aftermarket batteries. The other reason might be that the phone is confused with a new batter. You should reset the battery stats and see if that helps. I don't know how to do that with a droid, so you'd be better off asking the right forum. Good Luck!
