Anyone else looking forward to this? I would like to think Mr Scott will do a good job. I rather liked the first film, when I fully understood what the story was all about
Looking forward to seeing how the prequels link up to the first Alien film.

I did enjoy Prometheus, and have watched it a few times. Still don't get why the robot gave the doctor a dose of the nasty stuff though, which was fatal of course.

Yes, release in 2017. Filming starts next April.

Because he had a scientific programming, and was doing some research? There was friction between those two from the start, so maybe he just got pissed off and decided to do him some harm?

Actually there were a couple of strange moments in the film. Such as why the heck did the biologist approach that hostile cobra-like alien thing? Looked anything but cute to me!

But overall I thought the film was good, however needed some reading to really 'get' the plot. So a second viewing was required.
