Help Proprietary Cable TF700

Well, my Proprietary Cable has bit the dust.. Unable charge the unit up..it's dead in the water at the moment..Before it's slow demise, due to bad cable I was not able to synch or talk to TF700 via computer to load books, mags, pics, movies etc. Need new cable..Did not find any info on site search. Has anyone had to order a new cable? If so, where, what cost and how painless was it.. Looking forward to any and all responses..

Yes, I have ordered one, as well as an extra adapter, from ASUS's website because I wanted one for when I'm on the go and when I'm at home. It also helps if both the tab and the keyboard are very low so I can charge both at a much faster rate than if they are attached. You should be able to find all the accessories here.

Plenty of choices on Amazon too. Just search for 'Asus Transformer Charging Cable' and look to see if anything suits you.

I purchased several on eBay. Don't recall the vendor but the cables are 6ft and rubber, not plastic covered. Very flexible and not expensive. It's handy to have a cable always attached to a PC' another to a charger at home and another in the car. Never know when you'll need it.
