Root Pros/cons of flashing to lollipop?

Strongly considering flashing one of the lollipop roms here. Can anyone give me a quick pro/con summary of the current choices?

My main beef with the stock setup has been poor multitasking. Music skips a lot, or sometimes quits unexpectedly especially if I try to do other things while listening. But I do use a few things like qremote that I gather aren't working on cm12 etc?

So will the upgrade give me a smoother interface, better multitasking etc? What is still missing? How's battery life?

Thanks, I know there's a lot out therealready, but with the constant updates(a good thing!) I can't seem to keep up.

Well, Lollipop does give you better multitasking, for sure. CyanogenMod gives you about 500~MB of RAM to play with, and the stock music player is fantastic--no skips or quits or anything like that. And yeah, Qremote doesn't work, along with anything else that uses the IR blaster (NFC doesn't work either). Personally, I think Lollipop is just more pleasing to look at as well, and the battery life is just the same as on the stock ROM.

I haven't flashed any either b/c of the issues. I wish more developers had the phone. It's such a time consuming effort and people have everyday life things to deal with and can't commit. Next time around I will probably get a more popular phone for stronger support. Especially since Mid Range phones have come down in pricing.
But I have to agree with you on the issues with Stock KK. The music problem is so annoying. Even my alarm skips now... I'm thinking I might have to factory reset soon and add apps one by one to figure out what is causing the problem.

If you have Facebook and FB Messenger installed on the phone, those can cause issues. They hog what RAM that Android kills anything else to make room for those two to run in the background.
