Hello I bought my daughter a new laptop so I took over her tablet the problem is she don't remember the unlock pattern so I can not get into it. I have been on the net for hours searching how to factory reset it and everything I have tried failed.. please help..

Have you Googled "how to get recovery mode on (name of the tablet)"?
From recovery mode you should have the option to factory reset
