Protection for the wrap screen

New GS7 Edge. I really like the phone, but I'm worried about protecting the wrap screen. Have you found that they are more prone to breaking than the regular flat-screened phones? What kinds of protection are you using? (cases - screen protectors (which I hate, btw)

I don't think the curved edge screen is anymore prone to breakage than flat. However the thing is completely glass, both front and back, so I would definitely consider some form of protection for it, like a sturdy case. Are you likely to be particularly careless with it?

That's my thoughts from when I had a Note7 for a few weeks last year.

I actually try to be really careful with my phones, but accidents do happen. I bought a case rather quickly for the phone the night I brought it home, but I don't think it's the best. If I lay the phone down face down, the glass is on the surface of the table. The case does not make contact with the table, so I thought I should look for a better case. I saw a suggestion to get a Spigen case, which looks really nice. I just wish it came in some other colors besides black. I've spent a lot of time looking at cases on the Web - wishing I could really handle them to see how they felt. Anyhow, if you all have more suggestions for a case that maintains the lovely slimness of the phone, but that also holds the surface of the glass screen above the surface below it, it would be wonderful.

As sweet as those curved phones look I honestly believe that they are more prone to breaking. Not enough to effect usability but who wants cracks on their screens.

My HTC 10 has a chamfered screen and I have a crack in the upper left corner even though it's always been in a case.

I hope this curved screen thing is just a fad.
