Protection from Android phone from being hacked?

What is a good app to get for protecting my Android phone from being hacked? If possible can you list the best free app's and the app's that cost.

If you don't follow the tips in that link above, you're not protected no matter what app you have installed.

And if you do follow the tips in that link above, no app that claims to offer protection will be helpful.

I use "Lookout Premium" which is the paid version. (They have a free version as well.) At this time, no one has proof that any of the AV apps do or don't do there job. Its really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. I use my phone as my computer and even with using common sense, I don't want to take any chances. I have an AV/Firewall on my desktop computer and treat my phone the same. (Its not just a cell phone anymore.)
