My wife has the providence Journal that keeps comeing up every time she tries to use the phone. We can't find a "unscribe" or "delete" or "remove" in order to get rid of it.

Can someone tell me how we can remove this from her phone?

what you have is called adware. it probably came from a recent app that was installed. if you put the phone in safe mode, you can find out if this true or not. safe mode prevents 3rd party apps from running. if the issue goes away, than you know an app is the cause of this.

i would then go over your most recent apps and unistall them the best practice is to first find the app in your app manager. then you will need to wipe cache and data for the app. after the wipe, then you can uninstall the app. sometimes the app will leave the adware in cache and data which sometime will not get erased after uninstalling the app.....so do it first.
