Help Proximity sensor doesn't work while using youmail

So while listening to a voicemail with youmail, the display stays on, and my face ends up touching all sorts of buttons. Anyone else having this problem?

I can't even get youmail to load past step one. I just installed a new ROM
VirusRom Airborne RC1B3 and it is not loading since.

I never noticed it as I don't get that many voicemails, but youmail doesn't shut off the screen for me either when the proximity sensor is activated.
