Proximity sensor problems Huawei p30

Hello I have a question, hopefully someone can help me. I have a Huawei p30 Leica, bought second-hand, the cell phone was previously reviewed by a specialist, it worked perfectly. The day I finally had it in my hand, I did a total formatting and this could perhaps cause the problem: The intelligent diagnosis of my Huawei specifies that the proximity sensor does not work correctly and the same way the ambient light sensor does not work correctly. It is correct since when calling, the screen does not turn off but if the speaker works, it also happens that when listening to audios in WhatsApp it does not enable the upper speaker of the screen so I cannot listen in private mode due to the sensor. I have tried with apps to calibrate, test apps, look for options in the Huawei that is to activate it in case it is disabled but there is no visible option in settings to solve the problem. With the application "Proximity Checker" when starting the test it puts me on the screen "Proximity Sensor is not available" so it is not available. I wonder if it could be emui 10.1 update error, installation error, formatting error or if the sensor is damaged in the terminal? The Huawei unlocks the screen perfectly with facial recognition, it recognizes when it is in front of my face but it does not recognize in calls, it is rare. Any advice?

Are you sure that a proximity sensor exists in the device?

I recently aquired a device that does not even have one, nor does it have a light sensor so there is no auto-brightness control.

I think it does have both sensors, because before the factory reset they did tests and they worked. The problem begins after formatting and it was not necessary to do it because the Huawei was clean, without information from the previous person, only with a google account and that is why I wanted to start the cell phone from 0. I think it could be updated at the time factory reset to emui 10.1 and maybe this generates the error. Can be?

Is this proximity sensor related to facial recognition?

I have seen some information from the internet and other devices report the same problem with the update, such as the Samsung s6 or the Redmi 10, the sensors seem to fail to updates

Facial recognition is always done with the camera, and on many phones there are separate proximity sensors in the bezels.

However on a P30, the front is pretty much all screen with minimal bezels, there's one small notch for the camera, and no other obvious lenses or sensors. I guess this phone is using the camera as a proximity sensor during phone calls. Why it isn't working though, no real idea, except perhaps a software problem?

I've got a Huawei Mate10 here, and that definitely has a proximity sensor in the top bezel, next to the camera. I also have a Samsung Note20 Ultra, and that's similar to the Huawei P30, it's all display, with no obvious proximity sensors, apart from the camera hole in the display.
