Help Proximity Sensor

Anyone with a Moto XPE (VZW here) have any issues with the proximity sensor not working? When I'm on a call the screen goes black, when I try to get off a call the screen does not turn on so I can end the call. I have to hit the power button to turn on the screen and then end the call.
Any help or insight is appreciate.

I don't have the problem on the Turbo 2. I enable ot with Tasker unless I am on a call and then I leave it disabled.

In your phone app settings ... is there an option to disable the proximity sensor?

I don't see any options anywhere to disable the proximity sensor... phone app settings or otherwise.
