Hi, in my phone there is one problem occurring that is my phone proximity sensor is not working. What app should i download to get my sensor back in work.

There could be an actual app that is causing your phone not detecting the proximity of the objects..into the apps you have downloaded..try to go into its respective settings and adjust that..that would be my best guess..

I think you'll get a better grasp of the problem if you're aware there could be two different issues, one if it's a hardware problem and the other if its a software problem. If it's hardware where either the actual proximity chip inside your phone or the proximity sensor on the front of your phone has failed, there's no app (software) that can fix that. But on average it will be most likely be some kind of software problem than the hardware failing. It could also be something as simple as if you have your phone in a case and the phone has shifted out of place just enough to the proximity sensor is no longer lined up properly with the front-facing opening in the case.
But to check if it's software related, either an app or the operating system, maybe one of these suggestions will work:
-- If you haven't just restarted your phone that's always the first thing to try when there's a problem. Restart your phone and see if that proximity sensor is functional again.
-- Try starting up your phone in its Safe Mode. When running in Safe Mode it's just running the basic Android operating system. If the proximity sensor works in Safe Mode but not when your phone is just running in its normal state that's an indicator there's some third-party app that's causing a problem.
-- How long has this problem been occurring? If it's always been a problem that actually would indicate a possible hardware issue. But if it just started to be a problem recently, can you recall if anything like a system update or app was installed at about that same time?
If you state your phone model and which version of Android its running it could help us make more specific suggestions.
