Actually enquiring on behalf of a friend. he thinks i am 'in the know', but he's wrong! Anyway....just trying to help him out (and learn n the process) while I am kipping on his sofa! Here's me question...
So I can access stuff from the UK (I'm in Asia) I am trying to give my tablet a UK IP address. I have been trying proxy numbers from samair.ru
Anyway, whichever proxy number I try, the tablet does not seem to accept it, each time telling me the web page I try is not available. Am I missing something, blatant or otherwise, or is there a fault elsewhere? here is the path i take....
settings - wireless and network - wi-fi settings- advanced - proxy - enter proxy from samair.com - connect - return to homepage - browser - no joy!
