Help Proxy? Cant connect to internet

Hi y'all, I downloaded a proxy browser then decided I didn't want it after all. I unloaded it from my phone but apparently it changed my getting on the internet settings because now I get a message about proxy server refusing connections. I know this has been answered before, but since there are many different carriers I didn't want to take the chance of putting the wrong one in. Also, I found a place on the website that gave me the VPN? but I don't know if that's what I need to change, or how to change it. Help?
Edited to add - I have an SCH-I535 Galaxy S3 on Verizon

I think you just need to get and varify/update your APN settings for your carrier.
