Ok, so I would like to use my work's wifi connection. Is there still no way to use a proxy on a wifi connection in Android?
I had a Tmobile G1 and eventually gave up on this. I was hoping that Eclair or atleast a particular phone manufacturer would implement a way to add a proxy address to the wifi connection your on. My IPhone had this, I don't see why Android would not implement this. Every enterprise network I've been on funneled their internet connection through a proxy, so it would be a shame that google failed to add this after all this time.
Is there a way around this, or have I simply overlooked something?
