Help Proxy Issues

Hey guys, I've got a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S and connecting to the internet via a proxy. I'm at work on my Wi-Fi, and I have set up a proxy setting via the advanced options under the Settings features, the internet works as it should do, but everything else, apps, market etc. does not work whatsoever.

Is there any way to sort this issue out?

Im not shure about this but i could be that the network is blocking them, or they might use another port (most likley)
