PS3 Madden Roster Updates

Maybe somebody here can help me with this question.

Can you update the Roster on older versions of madden say 2006-2010 Versions on a PS3 .

I just got a PS3 and not really liking the new Maddens versions so thought I'd just buy an older version and update the rosters.

Is this possible. Gamming NOOB

Nope, not possible. This is why EA makes new Madden games annually. We are shelling out $ for a roster update lol.

I actually think you can. But you need 3rd party accessories like gameshark for file transfers. Then you need to find someone online that updates the rosters and manually creates all the rookies and adjusts rating. I know some people do it for NHL games, and madden is far more popular then NHL.. so there is probably some people out there that do it.

He's a console newb so I'm 99.9% sure that he's not gonna go through all that trouble lol

Ohh well, I remember being able to update rosters when I played a lot of online gamming with my PS2 soemthing like 7 years ago but haven't really played video games since then.

Guess I'll have to shell out for 2011. Is it any better then the joke of a football game 2009 and 2010??

It's definitely better than '10. I still enjoy playing the team play co-op.
