Public disgrace er storage

I know I posted about this maybe a year ago but cannot find it. As godawful as they already were, understaffed, overpriced and rising, they've really taken the cake this time. They are NO LONGER ACCEPTING CASH?!@$ They have a lot of nerve trying to screw over regular people without platinum cards or private jets. How do they stay in business? Their employees hate working for them. Let's all tell as many as possible about the horror that is public storage and hope they'll just vanish.

Last time i was in the UK I found exactly the same at some businesses, especially small places like little cafes and coffee shops. From what I understand if a place accepts cash, someone has to go to the bank with the days takings, or they have to keep it in a safe on the premises. Either of which might be encourage robberies, as well as costing the business more. Although here in China Ii've yet to see a places that still doesn't accept cash, but most people use their smart-phones to pay, with either WeChat Pay or AliPay. No cash payments in the UK started during the Covid plandemic,

I thought all places in America would now accept things like Google Pay, Apple Pay, tap and pay, etc? Where you just use your smart-phone, or whatever VISA or MasterCard you have. Like they do in the UK. You don't have to be a millionaire or have a private jet. LOL

Not everybody has that stuff or wants it. Some people don't have access to banking. Then there are those who are old school and wary of using cards. This brings me back to that book I'm still looking for, Hook Line and Sinker, about the founding of the credit industry. Apparently the guy thought he was doing folks a big favor by allowing them to buy things and pay for them later, but really it turned into a big mess. Credit card debt is right up there with student loans and medical as far as bankruptcies. By the way, I have found many listings for that book title, but they're all either about romance or actual fishing gear.
