That would be awesome. I have been watching your Tmo thread, I will )ack( be staying with AT&T but I am still interested to see how it's going with Tmo. I may buy out early and switch someday if I get confident they can provide me stability and good coverage.

That said, Motomaker is on a 3 day wait and I am just about settled on my customizations. I will hopefully FINALLY pull the trigger today. :o

I know I am an indecisive loser.
 
GGGGRRRRR :mad: So I go in to order. Average delivery - 6 days - WTH it was 3 days like an hour ago. STUPID.

Yeah, they seem to be behind...I ordered the developer edition on the 18th, I've heard nothing! Live chatted with Moto, it's processing still. UGH. I want my phone!!

Edit: Just got an email, phone should be here tomorrow. It was picked up by FedEx yesterday but the Moto systems apparently were never updated. They sort of need to be a bit more on top of things. Not complaining anymore, it's on it's way! Yay!
 
OK well the squeaky wheel gets the grease. :D

My contract is up with AT&T and I am a free agent able to take my business wherever I want. So I called AT&T on lunch and asked to be transferred to customer retention. (Now called customer relations FYI) I spoke with a wonderful woman who explained they would very much like to keep me as a customer. She could offer me an additional $50 off the upgrade price of any handset and waive the upgrade fee of $36 if I'd like to reenlist for 2 more years. I agreed. Well since I wanted the Motomaker version she couldn't do the $50 off but she said she'd credit my account instead. Well that turned out better the credit was $59 (taxes and fees :D) and she also lowered my family plan unlimited text from $30 to $20.

So my $249 Moto X is in reality $180 with no upgrade fee.

I love it when a plan comes together.
 
The thing I wanna know is where/when did these upgrade fees come from? Verizon wanted $30 from me to upgrade too.

What the heck?

Yeah for me it took Moto like a week to put the thing in the mail, then 2 day shipping lol.

But once you have it.... life is more vivid! (OK, might be exaggerating here, but it's a nice phone)
 
I am very pleased as I start my Thursday. I got an email that my Moto X should be delivered today!! That is super fast turnaround. I ordered it in the afternoon of Tuesday, so we are talking about 48 hours from order to my pocket. THAT IS EXCEPTIONAL!! I am very impressed with Motorola on this.
