"Pulling the battery"

I'm going to post this because I'm sure the question will come up sooner or later.

To power cycle/pull the battery on the device hold down the Power button and Volume Key (down) to power cycle the device.

No more pulling off case (if you have one), removing battery door, yanking the battery, putting the battery back in, putting the battery door back on and finally putting your case back on...whew! made me tired just thinking about it.

Was rooting and the phone hang so I used this earlier and it worked without any problems.

My phone was plugged in and it just died. I tried holding down power/vol down many times, and NOTHING! Now it won't turn on at all...

Is it charging? You might need to charge it up some.

It was fully charged. No worries though - vzw is swapping it out for me!
