Pure messenger widget

I am using (the most excellent) pure messenger to process incoming messages. I use a 2x2, unread only, on my main home. (N1/2.2/Launcher pro)
I would like to include Facebook mail, but if I subscribe to FB, I am inundated with (irrelevant to me) status updates.
I couldn't find a setting to finetune FB's feed and avoid being drowned. I would certainly appreciate distinct feeds for FB mail/wall/friends' updates.

I love your application but want to find out if there is a way to get it to go to the current txt message conversation when I click the widget that is showing the last txt message. I tried to change the settings for SMS that I thought corresponded to change this behavior but my phone says "warning: application selected as 'Sms' doesn't seem to be installed on your device. Please, select another application installed or adapted to your device." I have a droid X. What can I do to have it go to to my txt conversation so I can reply to the txt immediately just by touching the message just received on your widget. I don't want to click the icon that has a pop up for reply etc. I just want it to go to the txt message conversation with the person who just txted me so i can immediately reply. Hope that made sense. Is this not compatible with the droid X maybe? Thanks

All you can do is select 'Droid X' for SMS app. I know, it doesn't open the direct conversation, but I can have any Droid X to test (I live in France, and this device is not available). So ... I am blind
I would be happy to help you test anything you need or would you need an actual device? I don't have an option to add droid x as the sms app I don't think. I'm happy to help you if you need me to test anything though so just let me know. I can't believe how quickly you responded to my message!

yes, you can choose 'droid X' for the SMS app.
I would need a logcat after sms application opening from the launcher.
That would help to find the entry point of the SMS app.

Koxx, seem to be having an issue with Pure Messenger facebook part not opening the new official facebook 1.3 app it opens my web browser (Dolphin HD) when i click on comments. I have it set in the widget settings to open official facebook, any thoughts? When i press launch facebook it works fine just when i click on the comments of each facebook article

I'm having some issues with the 'mark all as read' action and the 'show only unread' not working as expected.
The 'mark all as read' action does not always clear all messages from the display. It appears that it only clears ~50 and leaves the remainder until the next update. It WILL eventually catch up and behave as expected.
I'm running Pure Messenger 1.8.8 on my Froyo DroidX under LauncherPro 0.8. I use the scrolling 4x4 list widget -- 2 of them actually (which may be the problem? I did try removing the facebook widget for a while to no effect).
I have one widget set to show only facebook messages and the other only twitter messages. The issue ONLY happens with the twitter messages. I've tried changing the max # of messages from 100 (my pref) to 50 and it hasn't helped. Anywhere from 2-50 messages will still hang around. The 'delete all' action doesn't help either. The remaining messages tend to be the older ones, but not always.
Any ideas?

This bug is making me crazy !
I had few users reports like this, but I am still not able to find the problem.
To understand that problem, I need you to send me a logcat just after the issue happen (try to delete an 'undeletable' message).

Please join a short problem description with the logcat.
Without this logcat, I won't be able to solve this problem.

hi, would love this be an app rather than a widget. Really after a combined inbox for sms, email and facebook, something with an icon with the unread message count showing. Think motoblur does this to some extent, but think anyone that did an app for this would make a lot of money from people coming from blackberry's.....
I’m trying to get this syncing with Tasker’s data check profile but can’t really seem to do it.
I have Pure Messenger set up to poll every hour from 8am to 8pm.
I have Tasker set up to turn on mobile internet and switch auto sync on between 7.57am – 8.07am and at these respective minutes every hour (I did have it on a 3 hour loop but that seemed even more inconsistent).
So theoretically it should update as Pure Messenger should poll FB and Twitter for updates at 8am and subsequently on every hour after whilst Tasker switches on mobile internet just before every hour.
It seems to be very erratic though; often not updating at all until the end of the day; I know there’s content to be brought through as it shows if I do a manual refresh.
Any ideas lads?

Yes, I know, I am thinking about it, but it's not so simple.
For example, everybody will want to be able to 'star' an email.... well, bad news, this is not possible for an external app to order this to Gmail app !!!
People doesn't expect ALL features from original app in a widget ... they does for a full app.
