Pure music widget

yep !
But you have to be sure that another software doesn't interect it (such as Meridian Player ... I had to remove it to make it working)

Moto droid with stock player:
unplug pauses
single click pause/play
doublie click = nothing
long click seems to OPEN music player while the screen is on

Edit: double click will go to next song for me 1 in like 30 attempts and ONLY when I"m on now playing screen?
 
please guys, I need to know if buttons works with HTC Sense devices with b12, and if not, send me a logcat just after the command.
And did they worked on a previous release ?

It's a great widget with a few hiccups such as not remembering my skin preferences. One request though. I notice it is for the stock music player and everyone here seems to be fine with that. But I actually prefer Meridian player because I listen to audio books more than music. Can you possibly add an option to choose the default player for the widget?
 
not sure if it's possible since the others are not open source and there woudl ned to be some developer cooperation from my understadning

Sorry man, I didnt see your msg until this morning when I go to work. My work PC wont let me run adb :( Ill send you one tonight when I get home. The buttons were still not working in b12 for me on Sprint Hero.

The buttons did work in b8 for me.

exactly, it is nor possible to control a software which have not been designed for that purpose (and even more complicated if it is not open source).

This is also the reason why I have so much difficulties to make is working with HTC Sense devices (not using the stock player, but a modified one).

For your skin problem, which device are you using ?
I have never encountered this problem.

Remember, you don't need adb to send a logcat. Just install 'log collector' from the market :)

Think next time around I will get a vanilla Android device. Sense is nice but seems to cause a ton of issues.
 
Just paid for mine ... at that price an absolute steal if you ask me.

Can't wait for the 4x2 and 4x3 update.
 
$.65 easily spent for me too. Thanks for the work and sticking with the htc sense guys Koxx... look forward to the updates to this and pure cal.
