can you send me a screenshot ?
for text scrolling, no, it's impossible. It would consume too much CPU because of Android widget architecture.

TODO for this 4x4 :
- landscape layout,
- improve current layout for variable screen sizes
- improve speed (very slow ...)
- add some buttons ?

This 'new skin' is already available as 'fr android 2'... I've made buttons with InkScape 5 minutes ago :)

I think 4x4 will be available in 4/5 days.
 
Excellent to hear you are making progress. I'm interested to see how the 4x2 turns out if you do that size. I currently have Pure Calendar which is a great app so I'm just waiting to see how this progresses before I make the plunge. My only problem is I like some of the features of MixZing (the playlist suggestion creator since I'm too lazy to do it on my PC) so I can't commit fully yet to the stock player.
 
Can't wait for this one! I am using the 2X2 which is great with the music sensitive live wallpapers (spectrum, vu meter, waveform).

Forgive my ignorance Koxx!
I have read this whole thread, and understand that this widget interacts with the stock music player, but what is the point of it! It seems to do the same thing as the stock player!

The point is : having something beautiful on your screen which can show album arts, activate BT, change shuffle/repeat modes, command play/pause/next/prev from your Home screen without needs to go to the stock applications except for changing your playlist.

The default widget is not personnalisable at all (4x1 only, no skin, no ...) and can't do half of what I expect from it (I am talking about the Android stock widget, not the HTC Sense widget which is pretty good !).

Sounds good to me, as I have been looking relentlessly for a customizable music player.
The problem being none of them have blue-tooth capability, I saw that is coming in your app, how is it going!

koxx, great widget, i love all your stuff. question about headset controls- you said earlier that they were supported. is that due to the stock music app already supporting them, or did you make that functionality?

if you did, is it possible there's any way to customize how the controls work? i.e., would it be possible that i could set long press for "next," double press for "previous," etc?

No, my widget can only ON/OFF the bluetooth, for AVRCP commands, I didn't modify anything.
 
Hello, I'm kind of having a problem using the widget. I've tried using all of the widget sizes on my GDE home screen but it only shows a loading data message but it does work on my regular sense screen can this widget only work on the regular htc sense screen and not gde. Thanks, I really like this widget btw from what I've seen so far on my sense screen

Edit: Nevermind GDE was making a lot of my widgets not work right. Can't wait for the new 4x4 it looks awesome! =)

AndroidMusicPlayerCnx : asynchronous interface with stock media player
UpdateService : widget general service

They have always been part of this widget.
 
is there a way you could add music controls to the lockscreen for either the default lockscreen or lockbot pro? if not thats cool I'm really liking this widget
