push APK files stored in SDCARD of Android Device(Tablet) to other Android Device over USB

Hi Folks,

I have a situation to push APK files stored in SDCARD of Android Device(Tablet) to Another Android Device(Tablet/Smartphone) over USB Cable. Is there any way that I can push Via USB port?

If not use Dropbox upload to Dropbox with first phone and then download from Dropbox to second phone super easy with wifi
 
Dropbox will store 3.5 gigs or so for you


Actually for DropBox that's 2GB for starters. 2,5GB if on referral.
On the other end of that scale there is MEGA - mega.co.nz/. MEGA gives you 50GB free and unparalelled data security and privacy.

But if the friend/other device is within 30 feet why not use Bluetooth and avoid the internet altogether? Or, if the .apk is less than say 20MB it can be sent as an email attachment.

...and gets free 24/7 monitoring of his/her data and data traffic in/to/from the cloud by the acronyms, ISPs, MIAA, and RIAA. Just like with DropBox, SugarSync, iCloud, Amazon cloud, Skydrive and afaik every other cloud!
Except with MEGA (mega.co.nz)!
 
Where did you get that? And of course you realize that anything you do on MEGA can be monitored also, if anyone bothers to. For that matter, everything anyone does on the internet can be monitored.

But none of them have your encryption key, do they? And if you pick a good one of 15 characters or more a 'brute force' attack will require 6 months of 24/7 supercomputer processing time to crack it. That costs millions! Do you think you are interesting enough to them to warrant that kind of expense on an individual wild goose chase?
If yes, pick a 20 character password and their supercomputers will have their work cut out for them for a decade...
 
There are master keys.

Master keys are used for complete encryption key organisations. Like in the data security structures of companies, corporations, banks, hospitals, laboratories, factories, military installations, etc. etc. Where many different people may need access to the same encrypted system. Master keys apply only in systems where encryption keys, a.k.a. passwords, are assigned to you, instead of you creating your own. You probably have a few of those in your billfold. Think PIN codes.

If you assign an individual key (on a secure PC) it is not linked to any 'master key' and directly proportionally secure to your capacity for handling waterboarding.

Well this is what I do. I have backed up all my app apk files to my SD card and transferred them to my computer by USB/data cable as my back up. I have reinstalled apps from the apk files from my computer to my phones SD card without a problem. The only thing is, you have to be able to install from unknown sources. Also, I'm not rooted. I use an app called "AppSaver" to backup the apk files.

No. You are being naive. Master keys are backdoors that bypass all passwords and are supplied by encryption software companies to government agencies all over the world.

Have you ever heard of say, a terrorist or child pornographer seized computer that could not be cracked because of encryption? No, the HD must be destroyed.

Has anybody ever used SonicShare in anger? Does it even work? Can't quite work out how it's supposed to work. What technology it applies. Ultrasound? It is short range.
It is free.
It requires both or all parties have the app installed. A drawback in my mind. Not using the internet or any other kind of authenticated, monitored data streams seems a definite plus for personal privacy, though.
Sounds like a tool for spies, almost! :-D

I know I could install it and see for myself, of course, but I hate to do that with an app I fundamentally don't understand. At all.
I guess I'm just chicken.
So I was hoping that anybody here would have some first hand experience with this app. It looks like a file transfer m.o. the O.P. could use, no?
