Help [Q] I screwed up.... Please help

In my ever quest to get my external HDMI monitor to work the way I want it to, I installed the HDMwIn for Evo 4G app hoping it would do the trick.

Well... Now my external monitor is stuck in screen saver mode with a bounding M logo.

Yes, I was stupid for trying that app but I really need your help in getting my external monitor to mirror the phone again.

HDMI support is built into the Bionic. Why don't you just uninstall the app, reload the Bionic, and plug in the HDMI cable?

Connected to HDMI cable

Did you click it and then select ...
Mirror on display

Does your HDMI device have the port selected that is connected to the HDMI cable?

If you did it should be showing the Bionic screen on your HDMI device.

I have done everything I can to no avail. I broke down and called Motorola. I got to Level 2 support but they could not solve the problem. They wanted me to send my phone back to them for a week so they could "fix" it. I can't be without my phone that long.

Next I called Verizon, no results their either. One would think there would be someone smart enough to know what is wrong.

Verizon is going to send me a new phone and i hope I don't screw that one up too.
